Covid-19 Service Information
The outbreak of COVID-19 presents one of the country’s most significant challenges in recent years. We understand this is an extremely worrying time for everyone, not least for the older and more vulnerable members of society and their loved ones.
We are following the Government’s guidance on delivering home care during this time to ensure that we are minimising the risk of spreading the illness whilst still providing our vital service to our customers so that they can stay safe and well at home.
Nu:Gen Care is keeping fully abreast of developments relating to the continued spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) across the UK and Ireland. We are routinely monitoring developments, reviewing our protocols, and preparing appropriate responses as the situation evolves.
Care During Coronavirus Pandemic
You may already receive some sort of care at home or have been recently considering arranging care for a family member that you’re unable to help due to the government restrictions. Perhaps you have just been discharged from hospital after having Covid-19 and need extra help personally and practically around the house. Whatever you need support with, we’re here to help now and after the outbreak has slowed.
Contact us today to find out how we can help you at home.

Covid-19 Care in the Community
Our Nu:Gen Care Ambassadors are here to deliver essential care to our customers and also offer support such as advice to stay physically and mentally active and well at home. Nu:Gen Care has also teamed up with Negrills Restaurant to provide hot meals and food delivery to our elders in the community, an initiative made possible through fundraising and partnerships. If you would like to support this initiative, please donate on our gofundme page.

About Us
Who are we?
Nu:Gen Care provides a culturally sensitive care service primarily for our black elders. Built on the foundation of four pillars; Training, Employment, Domiciliary Care and Residential Care. Our aim is to train, educate and deliver excellence in the Health and Social Care sector.
Seeing and experiencing too many pitfalls in the delivery of care, our drive for excellence has led us on a journey to develop our very own care training. Our pioneering Nu:Gen Care Ambassador training, will fully equip care givers with the highest skills and offer peace of mind for the ageing Black Minority Ethnic communities.
Our Committment
Our vision is to create a new landscape of care for the ageing black community, by addressing their cultural and racial needs. Our NCA training programme will compliment the current health and social care offering; focusing the creation and delivery of cultural standards. Our mission is to provide the best care and support for the ageing black communities and their families.

Pillar One: Training
Our Nu:Gen Care Ambassador (NCA) Training Programme, offers innovative and new units to existing qualifications and gives the industry the skills and competence that will ensure the services are delivered to clients and their families in a culturally appropriate manner. It forms the foundation of the business, and ensures that all our staff are appropiately trained before providing care in the community.
Pillar Two: Employment
Our employment service provides an agency type function to other care providers on a temporary or permanent basis. All recruits who sign up to the agency will participate in the NCA training programme and in doing so they will achieve the skills, knowledge and experience to become culturally competent care staff.
Pillar Three: Domilicilary Care
Our home care service primarily, provides a service to the BME community. We offer a competent and culturally sensitive service, from personal care to shopping and food preparation. Our mission is to meet the needs of a community whose health and wellbeing has, historically, been ignored or over looked.
Pillar Four: Residential
