Our home care service
This service offers a competent and culturally sensitive service that meets the needs of a community whose health and wellbeing has, historically, been ignored or over looked. We offer a range of services that support you in maintaining in your home.
Choose our flexible services, anything from a 30 minute check call, to 24 hour live in care. We can offer short term help (following an illness or because your usual carer is having a break), or longer term homecare and support.
We will come out to you to find out what you or your loved one needs to help stay independent at home and match you with one of our specially trained team to support you to remain at home for as long as possible.

Enables clients to maintain their normal daily routines and allows our service users to use our service on an hourly or as-needed basis.

Can I change my care package if it no longer meets my needs?
This is not a problem. We understand that care needs reviewing from time to time and that’s why we carry out reviews on a regular basis. This is also an opportunity for family members who are involved in your care, have an input into how we deliver the care for their loved ones.
What tasks will my NCA carry out?
We agree a care plan with you, which details exactly what you would like us to do for you. This essentially is what the Nu:Gen Care Ambassador will carry out at each visit. This is monitored and reviewed and can be amended by you at our reviews.
Will I have the same NCA everyday?
We will try our best to accommodate this, as we recognise that familiarity is comforting to some. However, please bear in mind that another NCA will have to be introduced to cover sickness and holidays.
How do I pay for my care?
At our initial home visit, we will talk you through the different payment methods and you can choose the one that works best for you. You will be sent an invoice every 2 weeks and request that payment is made 7 days following the date of the invoice.
How is Nu:Gen Care different from any other care company?
Our NCA’s provide a care service that will assist you with all your needs. We pride ourselves on offering a service that is really person-centered and culturally sensitive and really puts you at the centre of the care. We are flexible in our approach and also offer support to the families of the ones who are receiving the care.
