The Carryit Come Project was developed in response to COVID-19, a fantastic example of what we can achieve when we support each other. The project delivers a hot meal to some of the elders in the Rugby and Coventry Communities, as well as providing a weekly shopping and delivery service.
We are at an exciting point in the development of the Carryit Come Project and have made a great start at building our amazing food delivery service. We have recently secured a small pot of funding for the project, and with it, the chance to make Carryit Come a stable and much needed service for the vulnerable and elders in our communities. We are looking for someone to drive forward and continue the work we have started.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to work with the existing team at Nu:Gen Care, on this innovative project. Employed on a part time basis and based in Rugby, the main tasks will include:
- Take and record telephone orders on a weekly basis (hot meals and food shopping)
- Liaise with the restaurant to place hot meal orders in time for the daily deliveries
- Pick and pack food shopping at food market/store
- Deliver hot meals and food shopping to customers in the community.
- Maintain customer database and produce weekly reports.
We are currently looking for volunteer administrators to assist with our day to day administration, as we build the fundamental foundations of the comapny. As a growing organisation, our volunteers are invaluable part of our team and we recognise the importance of support people in their career journey.

Why not give something back. We require a minimum of 3 months commitment for 4 hours a week (1 day), days are flexible and you will be required to attend a mandatory training date.

Previous admin experience is essential.

General office duties including word-processing, photocopying, filing and mailing.

To undertake administrative duties in relation to the recruitment, training and general support of staff where required.

To help maintain stationery supplies and office sundries.

To support the organisation with volunteering/family/public events.

To support the administration of DBS checks for volunteers and staff.

Assisting with hospitality for visitors to the office.

Communicating by telephone with a wide range of people.

Creating and circulating a quarterly newsletter to our supporters.
