Cultural Competency Training

Nu:Gen Care (NCA) Training programme supports caregivers when they are dealing with service users from the Black Minority Ethnic communities, families and customers within the Health and Social Care environment.  The programme covers the key elements of the Care Certificate Standards, overlaid with key elements from the perspective of the Black population.

We offer this training as part of the Nu:Gen Care induction programme priot to our staff providing care in the community.  This training can also be delivered to exernal organisations that are interested in their staff becoming more culturally competent in their service delivery.
